Brian Jang studied Korean medicine theory, acupuncture, moxibustion therapy and personal training in Korea. After immigrating to Canada and completing studies at Capilano University in 2012, he has been working as a Physiotherapy Assistant at Richmond Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. He also completed the Acupuncture program at Kwantlen University and now practices as a registered acupuncturist.

Having received various treatments for illness as a young child, Brian has been searching for an effective method that treats the root cause. From his experiences, he saw that most treatment models focused only on symptom care. After studying chronic pain and TMD related sleep disorders, taking various neuromuscular treatment education courses from the US, and applying Korean/Chinese medicine acupuncture and cupping techniques, he has developed a way to detect and treat the root cause of pain.

Brian continues to grow in knowledge about neurological pathways to body function and pain through the R.A.D program from Korea. He is combining unique skillsets to help others who are experiencing chronic pain. Brian is fluent in English and Korean.

When not studying, Brian likes to play guitar, spend time with his wife and chase their two young kids around. Brian finds parenting the hardest job in the world and likes to refer to the experience as "painful joy".
